Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain features in a high-load monolith, microservices, and internal packages (shared libraries, SDK)
Integrate APIs and payment systems, work with webhooks and postbacks
Optimize MySQL queries, caching with Redis, and background job processing with RabbitMQ / Horizon
Implement realtime functionality based on WebSocket events (Centrifugo / Socket.IO)
Write concurrency-safe code using locks, mutexes, and atomic operations
Conduct code reviews and participate in technical decision-making
Requirements:
3+ years of commercial experience with PHP and strong knowledge of Laravel: events/listeners, queues, DI, service providers, FormRequest
Practical understanding and application of SOLID principles
Experience with MySQL: indexes, query execution plan analysis, optimization of heavy queries; Redis
Hands-on experience with queues (RabbitMQ / Horizon or equivalents) and asynchronous processing
Understanding of race conditions and practical experience preventing them
Experience integrating REST APIs and payment systems, working with HMAC signatures and webhook idempotency
Experience with Git / GitHub Flow, PRs, and code reviews
Experience using Docker for local development
Hands-on experience using AI coding agents — Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools
Working with Claude Code — we expect:
Break tasks down into steps, use plan mode, and work with parallel subagents
Critically review the agent’s output: check diffs, understand where the model may hallucinate, and take responsibility for the merged code
Will be a plus:
Vue 3 / Nuxt 3, TypeScript (we have a frontend monorepo)
Ubuntu, Nginx, PHP-FPM, cron; CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
