Market Analyst
We’re hiring a Product/Market Analyst for the skins ecosystem (CS2/Dota2, etc.) to lead market & pricing analytics, build pricing and risk-limit models, run and measure experiments (cases, promos, bundles, arbitrage), and own inventory & analytics (dashboards, alerts, unit economics). Must have 2+ years in skins marketplaces, strong SQL/Excel, solid grasp of liquidity/spreads/fees, and the ability to make crisp, independent decisions
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in the skins ecosystem as an analyst/trader/case-project operator or marketplace operator
- Deep understanding of skins market mechanics (liquidity, spreads, fees, seasonality)
- Hands-on data skills: SQL/Excel (required), Python/R/BI (nice to have)
- Ability to define rules and policies (risk limits, price boards, listing/delisting)
- Self-driven, with fast decision-making skills
- Nice to have: cross-market arbitrage experience, automation/scripting, network on Buff/Skinport/Steam, strong grasp of ToS and compliance
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market and pricing analysis for skins and monitor liquidity
- Build and maintain pricing models, risk limits, and listing/delisting rules
- Launch and evaluate experiments (cases, promos, bundles, arbitrage, cross-market strategies)
- Manage inventory and turnover: plan purchases, control withdrawals, fees, and ROI
- Set up analytics: dashboards, alerts, cohort and unit economics, funnels
- Integrate and collaborate with marketplaces/providers and maintain antifraud controls
- Prepare regular reports on results, hypotheses, and the plan for the next sprint
